Felicia “Snoop” Pearson is an American actress and author born in Baltimore, Maryland. She is best known for her portrayal as Snoop on the HBO drama series The Wire. Ms. Pearson has acted in supporting roles in a number of films and television shows, including Chi-Raq, Da Sweet Blood of Jesus, Blue Bloods and Swagger. Growing up wasn't without some hardships and weighty challenges. Ms. Pearson wrote a memoir dubbed Grace After Midnight detailing her troubled childhood and time spent in prison for second degree murder. Since her release, Ms. Pearson frequently returns to Baltimore to effect positive change in the lives of others through mentorship.
