Kitty Yoshioka

Kitty was born in Santos, on the Brazilian coast, in June 1992. She has a technologist degree in Multimedia Production and has taken courses on Art History, Children's Books Illustrations, Children's Books Market, and Illustration.

Kitty worked as a graphic and digital designer for over ten years before deciding to pursue her dream of being an author and illustrator. Worked with Brazilian publishers illustrating children's books and in 2022 she wrote and illustrated her first book, O que vão pensar de mim?(What will they think about me?)published by Editora Tulipa. With a fun, colorful, and cozy style, she illustrates daily adventures, representative stories, and food-related themes.

Kitty lived in São Paulo for a few years but missed the sea breeze. Today she prefers to have her feet on the sand with her husband and dog. Outside of work, she loves cooking delicious vegan food, reading and daydreaming. She also wears mismatched socks (not always by her choice.)
