Dana Mount

Dana Mount is a writer and educator living in beautiful Unama’ki/Cape Breton. Originally from Toronto, Dana has studied English, Gender Studies, and Environmental Studies and holds a PhD in English and Cultural Studies from McMaster University. She has always been interested in the intersections of environmental and social justice and has recently turned to fiction to explore these messy spaces. Dana participated in the Writer’s Federation of Nova Scotia Alistair MacLeod Mentorship program for the development of her debut novel.
